This round of the EXEDY CUP OPTION2 Endurance Race was held on October 8th at the Hyogo prefecture Central Circuit as a charity event to help relieve the victims of March’s devastating earthquake in the Tohoku area of Japan. The event was divided into two groups with S-Class running separate from the Freshman and Compact Classes.

Through the generosity of donations collected along with the revenue generated from the sales of EXEDY merchandise at the race, we were able to collect 13,647 yen to donate to the Japan Red Cross.

New for this season, we had added broken the S-Class race into two 45 minute heats where we then added the final positions of both races to determine the winner. With the shorter races allowing the drivers to be less conservative with tires and fuel, competition was more than fierce throughout both rounds with constant battles for position.
The Freshman and Compact race was held as our normal 150 minute race with 6 entries.

Regularly participating teams welcomed the new faces entering for their first time in the long race where all participants had a good time and finished the race safely.

With weather on our side, all teams had fun and enjoyed the fierce yet friendly competition in all classes!
Congratulations to the Garage Okamoto team who had won their class by putting forth solid performances in both heats! Garage Okamoto was happy to bring home HYPER SINGLE clutch kit as their class champion prize.
