On July 15th, 2012, the EXEDY sponsored J. Lorenzo of the Yamaha Factory Racing team won the 9th round of MotoGP in Italy.
As he was positioned second on the starting position, J. Lorenzo took the lead quick within the opening lap and was unchallenged throughout the race. This win put Lorenzo back onto the winner’s podium as he was winless the past three rounds.
In lieu of his 5th win this season, Lorenzo commented after the race that he felt great from the start and that this round was a great win.
