A remarkable first time feat! Ai Miura, an employee of EXEDY, is the first woman to ever take first place in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship N Class

On April 13th, Ai Miura, an employee who works in our CSR・Public Relations Department, competed in the 2nd round of the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, and took home first for the N Class. This is an incredible accomplishment, especially considering that this is the first time that a female driver has taken first place at the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.

Miura, who placed third in the previous round, took the lead from the very start of the second round. She stayed in the lead throughout, completed the seventeen laps of the race without ever giving up her position for an instant, and crossed the finish line in first place.
