Jorge Lorenzo of the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team acquired his first victory for this season at the 14th round of the 2014 MotoGP!

At the 14^th round of the 2014 MotoGP, which took place on September 28th at the Motorland Aragón, Jorge Lorenzo of the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP racing team, which is sponsored by EXEDY, obtained his first victory for this racing season.

Lorenzo, who placed seventh in the preliminaries, got off to a good start in the race by moving up to fourth during the 1^st lap. On the 8^th lap, he was able to move all the way up to first, after which the rest of the race developed into a fiercer and fiercer competition; however, as rain began to fall more intensely, Lorenzo, during the last four laps, had to exchange his motorcycle for one more suitable to wet racing conditions, which was done while the other leading racers continued the race. This decision was a great success, and as the other racers fell off their bikes one by one, Lorenzo made his way back to the top, snagging first place, which was his first for the season. As for Valentino Rossi, regrettable though it may be, he dropped out of the race as a result of falling off his bike during the 4^th lap.
