The Movistar YAMAHA MotoGP pulls off their second consecutive one-two finish at the 5th round of the 2016 MotoGP!

On May 8, 2016, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, who race for the EXEDY-sponsored Movistar YAMAHA MotoGP team, pulled of another one-two finish at the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France, which was held at Bugatti Circuit.

Lorenzo, who started the race from pole position, was off to a great start with a 0.4 lead after his first lap. He maintained his lead, leaving all the other racers behind and staying in first from start to finish, which ultimately led to his second victory for the season. Due to this latest win, Lorenzo now stands at the top of the rider standings.

Valentino Rossi started the race in 7th, but gave hot pursuit to Lorenzo, reaching 2nd place by the middle of the race. He showcased a splendid performance, finishing the race in second and netting his team their second consecutive one-two victory.
